Who we are
TriForge Recruitment Ltd. ("TriForge", "we", "our", "us") is the data controller for personal data collected via this website and through the course of our recruitment services. We are registered in the UK and headquartered in central London.
What data we collect
- Contact details — name, email address, phone number, LinkedIn profile URL.
- Employment information — current role, target role, CV content, references.
- Company information — where you're reaching out on behalf of a business: company name, role at company, hiring brief.
- Technical data — IP address, browser type, device information, and analytics on how you interact with this site.
- Uploaded files — CVs and related documents you submit through our forms.
Lawful basis
We process personal data under the following lawful bases:
- Legitimate interests — assessing and matching candidates to roles, marketing our services to relevant businesses, and running and securing our website.
- Consent — where you actively submit data through a form (candidate CV, contact form, quote requests).
- Contract — where we are delivering services under an agreement with you or your employer.
How long we retain it
We retain candidate data for up to 24 months from last activity unless you ask us to remove it sooner. Client data is retained for the duration of the engagement and up to 7 years following the end of the engagement to meet accounting and legal obligations.
Who we share it with
- Internally — between TriForge recruitment consultants working on your search or application.
- With hiring clients — for candidate data, only after obtaining your explicit consent for each role submission.
- With subprocessors — limited operational vendors (hosting, email delivery, analytics, CRM, applicant tracking). We require UK GDPR-compliant data processing agreements with each.
- We do not sell personal data. Ever.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR, you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Request correction of inaccurate data.
- Request deletion (the "right to be forgotten").
- Object to processing or restrict how we use your data.
- Withdraw consent at any time, where processing is based on consent.
- Lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).

Cookies
We use a minimal set of cookies. A first-party analytics cookie tracks basic site usage (pages visited, anonymised session duration) so we can understand what content is useful. We do not set advertising or behavioural tracking cookies. You can disable cookies entirely in your browser settings with no material impact to site functionality.
ICO complaints
If you believe we have handled your personal data unlawfully, you can lodge a complaint with the UK's Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk. We'd appreciate the opportunity to address concerns directly first — email us before escalating.
